Career Opportunities

Northstar employs more than a dozen full and part-time faculty, many with post graduate degrees in their fields, who teach courses in their area of expertise. Classes are rigorous and discussion/project based, fostering close relationships between students and faculty which are a vital part of the education and growth of our students.

Candidates wishing to join the faculty at Northstar School should:

• Have suitable academic credentials (or be working towards them) and model life-long learning.

• Be an outstanding classroom teacher or have the potential to become one, and be able to keep students engaged and challenged.

• Have a strong interest in and enthusiasm for the subject.

• Possess creativity, strong organizational abilities and excellent interpersonal skills.

• Be able to work closely in a team with other department members to ensure an excellent educational experience for all students.
